Our snow days at The Green House® Cottages of Homewood in Mena, Arkansas, brought us a delightful new friend—a polar bear who passed out hot chocolate to our residents, helping them stay warm and cozy. We had "snow" much fun enjoying the winter weather, from making snowmen (both indoors and outdoors) to playing in the snow.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Mena Police Department and Polk County Sheriff's Department for their incredible service during the snowstorm. Your dedication ensured our staff could safely travel to and from work, allowing us to continue providing excellent care for our precious residents.

We also had special guests come in to play music for our residents, but the highlight was our very own Mr. White, who shone bright playing the harmonica. His performance brought joy and smiles to everyone.

Before the new school year began, we had some wonderful kids join us for a fun bingo game. It was a great way to connect generations and create lasting memories.

Stay tuned for more updates and activities as we make The Green House® Cottages of Homewood a place of warmth, joy, and community. Here's to more wonderful moments together!
